Smallwares Receives Competition Honors
Smallwares Receives Competition Honors
July 25th, 2006

FORT WAYNE, Ind.—Two new smallware products from Lincoln Foodservice Products, Inc. were named finalists in the 9th annual Smallwares and Tabletop Competition hosted earlier this month by Foodservice Equipment Reports. The Optio™ Stainless Steel Cookware line and Redco® Composite Wedger both achieved finalist status in the smallware portion of the competition. Judging took place mid-July with a panel of experts that included three national dealer representatives and four foodservice operators. Both Lincoln products were introduced earlier this year.
The Optio™ by Lincoln cookware collection is a complete line of stainless-steel products including natural-finish and nonstick pans suitable for frying, sautéing and saucing, as well as nonstick stock and sauce pots, braziers and covers. The Optio™ by Lincoln line was specifically designed for the value-conscious chef. All items are constructed of high-quality 18/10 stainless steel and feature aluminum-clad bottoms for quick, even heat distribution. The line is induction ready and suitable for use with any type of stove.
The Wedgemaster II is a composite wedger available only from Lincoln Redco. It divides products into a choice of six or eight wedges, and is perfect for lemons, limes, oranges, tomatoes, onions and potatoes. One-stroke manual operation is three times faster than cutting by hand. Wedgemaster II produces consistent results, reduces food damage and waste, and improves profits.
Lincoln Foodservice Products, Inc., an Enodis company, is a leading U.S. manufacturer of Impinger® conveyor ovens, Redco® manual food prep machines; Merco Savory commercial food warmers, toasters, merchandisers and rotisserie ovens; and the extensive Wear-Ever® line of professional cookware and bakeware, food handling products and utensils.
